Alaskans4Palin Reviews “Our Sarah”

Our Sarah: Made In Alaska now has a review from an Alaskan who is familiar with the Heath and Palin families. Tracey Porreca, Founder and Publisher of Alaskans4Palin wrote about her determination to not let her friendships with the Palins and Heath influence her review. What Porreca knows about the authors corroborates what they wrote in Our Sarah. “This book is truly written from the heart of these authors, not just from memory,” Porreca wrote.

Alaska is often described in clichés she wrote, but Our Sarah “has has done a very good job of describing the components that make up that pioneer spirit.”

The book does not “gush” over the accomplishments of former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin, Porreca wrote. Rather, every milestone in her life shaped and formed who she is. We are products of our experiences. “This is not a book that tells you why she is who she is – it’s more a book of discovery.”

Porreca knows Chuck Heath, Sr. better than Jr., yet encountered several stories in the book she never knew about the elder Heath, giving her several “ah ha!” moments. Like numerous others, Porreca described Chuck Heath, Sr. as having a gift to recount events and tell engaging stories accurately and truthfully.

See, An Alaskan Review of “Our Sarah: Made In Alaska” for Porreca’s complete review.
