Yesterday, Chuck Heath, Jr., the brother of former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin proposed that a new third party called the American Party be formed, because of the utter failure of the corrupted Republican Party to adhere to its own planks. US for Palin Editor, Josh Painter reported on the story, and weighed in with his thoughts on the subject. Today, Chuck Heath, Jr. posted further details about this proposed party and some basic safeguards that would be put in place to prevent it from becoming corrupted. All my thoughts and concerns about a third party are in the comments at both posts.
