Sarah Palin joined Fox News’ post-debate coverage Thursday night to discuss the event with Sean Hannity. She characterized the vice president’s rhetoric as “inciting” and said Biden “was passionate about all the wrong things.”
Gov. Palin stated her opinion that Biden as sent in by the Obama campaign to be an “attack dog.” The tactic, she added, was intended “to compensate for President obama’s poor performance in last week’s presidential debate, in which Obama appeared “loose and arrogant.”
The first woman to serve as both Alaska’s governor and the GOP’s vice presidential candidate also criticized moderator Martha Raddatz, whom Palin said “allowed Biden to control the debate.”
The Tea Party favorite expressed her disappointment that Paul Ryan wasn’t able to bring up Biden’s record on energy, which she said was a poor one. Gov. Palin explained that over the years Biden has opposed domestic energy production and even voted against the Trans-Alaska Pipeline.
The governor concluded with a William Blake quote, “Truth that’s told with bad intent beats all the lies you can invent,” explaining that even when Biden did manage to tell the truth during the debate, it was tantamount to telling a lie.
