Former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin will be a panel speaker at Southeastern University’s 2013 National Leadership Forum March 7 through 8, Mary Toothman, The Ledger reported.
“Having Palin speak was not a decision made with a political agenda, [Brian C. Carroll, vice president for university advancement] said. ‘This is not a political forum, by any stretch of the imagination,’ he said. ‘Sarah Palin is going to be talking about overcoming obstacles in leadership, and she’s overcome a lot of obstacles.’”
George W. Bush, Jeb Bush, Condoleeza Rice, and Colin Powell have spoken at some of the six prior Forums. Tickets range from $450 for general admission to $1,500 which includes an evening reception with Gov. Palin.
Prospective attendees can call the University at 863-667-5455 or 877-367-8620.
