Ron is correct John. We do have checks and balances for conditions such as this, especially when a political party begins to overreach. This administration not only does not listen to the American people it openly disrespects the heart and soul of our country. I have never seen anything like this before in my lifetime and a lot of Americans like myself are just simply in shock.

Some of the comments I get never cease to amaze me. I had to respond to this one.

John....you will not find a better guardian angel to the Second Amendment than Sarah Palin. I would give her the spare key to my gun closet any time. I trust her with my life. And she is the only person in politics not just in the US but anywhere in the world I feel this way about. If you follow this site, you should be more than aware of the numerous awards and honors she has gotten in defending our Second Amendment. She is not calling for outlawing or regulating any kind of guns. Your comment insinuates that she is somehow turning her back on the Second Amendment. Sarah Palin supports our Second Amendment and will do so till the day she draws her last breath. Have you noticed the theme of this site? Have you viewed the promo? The sound effects were of me exercising my Second Amendment rights.

I understand full well that the point of that Amendment is a check and balance against the formation of tyrannical government. Gov. Palin understands that as well. But having this check; and having this right does not mean we start having meetings in which we call for an armed overthrow -- even for a horrifically bad piece of legislation such as ObamaCare. What Gov Palin is saying quite simply is that NOW is NOT the time for armed insurrection -- as this small group, appeared to suggest. Do you honestly think it would be responsible of her to suggest that it is????

If the proposed solution to protesting proposed government action is now grabbing whatever is in your closet and starting a revolution, we are no better than a Third World country or pre-Nazi Germany. We don't do juntas here; nor do we do beer hall putsches. We have checks and balances here; we have numerous legal means to combat ObamaCare and Gov. Palin delineated them all. If the bill passes via "deem and pass," you betcha it will immediately be challenged in the courts. More than half the states in the Union have filed legislation to the effect that they will not partake in or permit any aspect of ObamaCare at the state level. Watch the video! It's not there just to look good. And if we - the citizens do our parts this November - we can fire the bums who were involved in this.

That's what SarahPAC is about by the way -- supporting candidates who support Reagan Conservative principles. By donating to SarahPAC, you'll be supporting the candidates Sarah Palin endorses and we can solve this the American way -- at the ballot box.

Speaking for myself, I am worried now that Sarah is more a hunter than second amendment / liberty advocate. To admonish Alaskans that 'violence is not the answer' is to presume that they are the aggressors and hostile to government. Public servants are hostile to liberty and to state that 'violence' is expected from those who respect and expect due process all these years is to misread her followers. This needs further investigation as to who and what first gave Sarah reason to distrust gun owners and turn a blind eye to officials who have abandoned due process for too long.

Palin nails the whole issue with one line. "[Leadership]’s not taking up arms at this point" (around the 5:20 point in the video).

It's official! This woman is sooo dead-on-target and on-course with what true Americans need to do now and in the future. It focuses people's current effort on the normal political process, but recognizes the uncertainty of the future.

As for Beck, a self-described alcoholic ex-DJ, he has in the last year or so seemed to deprecate his principles in favor of societal stability. He seems to hold more concern for his portfolio than for the heritage of the country. When Palin didn't jump on his bandwagon of slamming the event in sight outright, it showed Palin's far deeper, truer, and sincere appreciation of the values they both generally represent. Beck, as I would expect, seemed genuinely ticked at this (see around the 2:10-2:40 point).

In all, an awesome showing by Palin. We saw the true Sarah there, and I look forward to seeing more of it.
