To know and understand Gov. Palin, you must know and understand her leadership style, methods, and philosophies; how it has been responsible for her successes; how it charted her life’s course; and how it could predict her future.

Gov. Palin is a Transformational and Charismatic Leader. She is also a Servant Leader. Her principal base of power since July 26, 2009 is referent.

Though he does not reference the Leadership Theory by name underpinning Gov. Palin’s action, Mr. L references it in a very practical way. He understands that she is a Servant Leader, while Gov. Christie and others like him are statists see themselves as “lording” over their constituents.
