Episode 5: “Ms. Palin Goes to Washington”
In this episode, Bristol and Willow plan a beautiful surprise party for their mom, and are very protective of her. They don’t like Gov. Palin working rope lines for fear that someone might cause harm to her. Gov. Palin explained that she works the rope lines because she values us – her supporters – she does it to thank us and to share herself with us. US for Palin maintains a page dedicated to the experiences of the site’s staff. This should be all the more reason why as Palinistas, we should always conduct ourselves at our best – on – and off – the rope line and in the handling of our interactions – in whatever form they take – with Gov. Palin and her family. This is a precious gift she gives us. We should respect, cherish and treasure it.
This episode included lots of scenes from CPAC and from Bristol’s book signing at the Dupont Circle Books-A-Milion….
You can see me entering the store and doffing my jacket from 7:03 to 7:06 in the video. If you’re looking for CPAC memories, this is the episode to watch.
You can see complete prior coverage of CPAC including a spread of 50 photos and a 1080P Full HD video of the entire speech at: Gov Palin’s Closing Keynote at CPAC 2012 Sights and Sounds.
The episode also gives a beautiful glimpse into the Palin family dynamics throughout and provides values for all of us to emulate.
Episode 6: “Sarah’s Surprise”
The segment from 1:56 to 2:47 should be mandatory viewing for every parent on this earth. Really, the entire episode should be mandatory viewing! Todd Palin tells Bristol in no uncertain terms how and why a child needs to be properly disciplined. The first four minutes of the episode focus on this subject. The rest of the episode focuses on a second larger surprise birthday party that Bristol, Willow, and ultimately the entire Palin and Heath families planned for Gov. Palin. This is a family full of love, mutual support, and has its priorities in the right place. You won’t find a better model for how to run your family than this one.
