Bristol Palin’s dance partner Mark Ballas yesterday said in an interview with Access Hollywood,
“Look at the roster we’ve got. Emmy winners, Oscar winners, athletes, Olympic gold medalists, you know – hall of famers – and here’s this little old Bristol from Alaska who’s never really been in the entertainment eye – for her to go down swinging and put up the fight that she did, I’m proud of her….I love her. I’m proud of her. We had hardly any rocky moments. If you include our last season, that was what? Twenty weeks together. I’m really pleased and I’m proud as a choreographer to take someone from zero to the point that she got to.”
After the Access Hollywood interview, the duo were guests on Jimmy Kimmel Live where Bristol answered questions about her future. Following a variant of a Kimmel tradition, the shoes Bristol wore in her last dance were thrown into a wood chipper. He usually burns the shoes of eliminated dancers. Bristol and Mark begin a New York City speaking circuit and will be on Good Morning America.
