Before we open into the main highlights, we want to address rumors surrounding Sarah Palin not being chosen as Trump’s VP and not speaking at the RNC this week.
Sarah Palin recused herself on CNN during an interview that aired May 8. She said she did not want to hurt or be a burden on the Trump campaign and felt negative perception of her among the electorate could be problematic. Here is the CNN video cued to the 5:06 mark when the subject of the Vice Presidency was introduced.
All sorts of rumors have swirled around her not speaking at the convention this week. No, Trump did not disrespect her. You’ll see several items in this week’s highlights from Palin which clearly indicate her relationship with Trump is on excellent terms. Another rumor based only on hunches suggests that Trump’s campaign manager, Paul Manafort shut Palin out of the confab, because “he doesn’t like her.” Manafort has not said a single word publicly about Palin one way or the other. There is no video of him showing negativity toward her via facial expression or body language. In short, it’s simply rumors spun out of whole cloth.
The timing of a development in a family matter suggests that could have been the driving force. But we don’t know that for certain. Our community cannot posit our opinions as fact – something too many people in politics do. We are not in the inner circles of either Palin or Trump. We are supporters, not authorized representatives of either. We don’t know what we don’t know. We don’t know who’s decision it was for Sarah Palin to sit the convention out. We don’t know if the decision was unilateral or mutual. Sarah Palin tends to keep these decisions secret – which often fuels these rumors, because she loses control of her message by so doing. But, that is her choice and consequences. She was not at the convention; we don’t know why, and likely won’t know why. Life goes on.
Sarah Palin’s activities this week focused on supporting Trump. She published never-before-released photos from her meeting with the Trump family during her One Nation Bus Tour. She also posted three items on what we call The Fall of the House of #LyingTed. The selfish, petulant Texas Senator refused to endorse Trump at the convention and used his prime-time speaking slot to tell those gathered to “vote your conscience” in November. “Vote Your Conscience” is a well-known #NeverTrump and Hillary Clinton phrase. The convention hall turned on him, and he got booed off the stage, leaving the convention in disgrace.

Plus we have a complete round-up of Palin family special moments.
Let’s get to it
The Time I Visited Trump Tower And Learned That Donald Trump Is With Us
Between stops at Philadelphia’s Constitution Hall and the Statue of Liberty, Donald & Melania Trump invited us to Trump Tower for the most memorable visit. DJT and I knew one another prior to the visit, but we’ve kept in closer touch ever since that day.
Our road trip and that personal visit solidified my support of DJT, seeing up close his gracious treatment of everyone – regardless of race, class, creed – or dress code! Mom laughed when I showed her these pics, commenting we’re all still wearing the same clothes.
Breitbart Exclusive — Sarah Palin to Ted Cruz: Delete Your Career
Turns out Ted Cruz’s partner, Carly Fiorina, had a more graceful exit from the political stage than he had. Cruz’s broken pledge to support the will of the people tonight was one of those career-ending “read my lips” moments. I guarantee American voters took notice and felt more unsettling confirmation as to why we don’t much like typical politicians because they campaign one way, but act out another way.

Ohhhh, yes! Eight minutes of goosebumps-inciting truth from Pastor Darrell Scott of Cleveland at the GOP Convention. Talk about an anointing! It’s worth watching:
“America is a melting pot… ONE NATION UNDER GOD, INDIVISIBLE… we are NOT a nation like any other! We are the greatest nation in history… as Republicans we’re unreservedly proud to be Americans and we are PROUD of our patriots… rebuild the broken trust that now exists between our citizens and our government… only if we have strong leadership! THE ART OF THE DEAL IS TO UNIFY!”
From 3000 miles up North, it’s good to hear the GOP Convention is going well. It should strengthen faith that real hope and positive change can be on the way for the next generation.
I haven’t caught highlights of convention speeches yet so will peruse this site to catch up: https://theconservativetreehouse.com/2016/07/18/four-gop-convention-prime-time-speeches-not-to-be-missed-videos/
I hear the convention TelePrompTer was abandoned during one speech last night, harkening back to the 2008 VP Nomination speech when the GOP Convention TelePrompTer let me just let ‘et rip: http://www.redstate.com/diary/Erick/2008/09/04/breaking-sarah-palin-winged-her-speech-bec/ Funny, while I was just now looking up ’08 media coverage of that broken TelePrompTer during my speech, it appears the lamestream media lied about the issue then, and still lies about it. The more things change, the more they stay the same with the LSM still just “making things up!” (And they wonder why they’re so distrusted and despised?) Because I have a life and I ignore the media haters, I’d been unaware all these years that reporters denied the TelePrompTer glitch ever happened. Silly, silly irrelevant reporters… did they really think some campaign speech writer fed the TelePrompTer my ad-libbed comments like the “Hockey Mom & Pitbull with Lipstick” joke?
Have a great day, America! Thinking of you under Alaska’s penetrating summer sun and today’s 70-degree forecast up here in God’s country!

In this clash of civilizations, the courageous, unrelenting fight for America’s future is beyond paramount. If eyes are not open to this after the latest Islamic attack, then one may be hopelessly lost in the fake utopian world into which the Left sucks the gullible.
Congratulations to Gov. Mike Pence on being chosen to run for Vice President. Pence is an accomplished Indiana politician with decades of politics under his belt. He is a devoted family man, and he is a gentleman. He will serve well as Trump’s partner; Trump’s second in command.
Commonsense, independent patriots must now be wholly united and involved in this election process. Recognizing the nation’s enemies hellbent on decimating us militarily and economically, it’s wise to insist gentlemanly politics to take a back seat to the fighting Warrior spirit that must drive all our leaders in this upcoming epic battle for America’s security, solvency and sovereignty. A GOP team is now set to win that battle through strengthening our military, our Supreme Court, our balance sheet, and our common resolve to finally put America first.
Congratulations to the Pence family: stand your ground and fight alongside your dad through the coming months and years of scrutiny. Illegitimi non carborundum.

Always nice to share some victory and justice with you all. Perhaps you remember a few years ago a website illegally published my private & financial information. The disturbed “hactivist” who did it finally got busted and is now sentenced. He certainly adversely impacted my family, but doesn’t it seem these issues that continually crop up to try to bring us down merely strengthen our spine as we win the battles against the haters time after time after time? Thank the Lord! I hope you’re looking at your challenges that same way… what doesn’t kill ‘ya makes you stronger!
