The closing of the Restoring Honor Rally involved a powerful prayer by Dave Roever and worship through song. As I felt the prayer, watched the responses of the people, and took in the song at the end, I was filled with joy and inspiration.
On my best day I wouldn’t be able to figure out why some people have bashed this event and tried to spin it into something negative. It was uplifting, it was faith-filled, and it was non-partisan. As you listen to the prayer at the end, too, you will hear the heart of a man who simply loves his God, respects his country, and honors those who serve.
