Sarah Palin at SEU: Culture Matters

by Josh Painter on Friday, March 8, 2013 21:04 EDT

Governor Palin spoke and answered questions at Southeastern University’s annual Leadership Forum Friday. According to Twitter, she told students to “do what others won’t.” She is said to have encouraged her audience to “Cling to your Gods, your guns, your Constitution,” and advised, “Don’t allow faith to be pushed to the margins of our culture.” The former Alaska governor and the Republican Party’s 2008 vice presidential stressed the importance of culture in our society and urged those in attendance to make a positive influence on that culture.

The Ledger, the local newspaper, has a photo gallery up on its website, but no story at the time of this posting. Also, M. Joseph Sheppard has a number of photos and video clips from Palin supporters who were in the audience posted on his blog.

We will post more about Gov. Palin’s afternoon on the SEU campus as it becomes available.
