Sarah Palin lunches in Nebraska with Deb Fischer

The Omaha World Herald reports that Gov. Palin made a stop in La Vista, Nebraska today on her way from Missouri to Iowa. While in the Obama suburb, Palin had lunch with U.S. Senate candidate Deb Fischer at the Summer Kitchen Café and visited the local Cabela’s, a retail outlet which stocks hunting, fishing, camping and outdoor gear .

She called Fischer a “hard-working, very grounded, down-to-earth, patriotic American woman.”

Palin, the Republican vice presidential candidate four years ago, said that as a Nebraskan, Fischer knows agriculture and could “help common-sense, constitutional Americans.”

“We need more of that when it comes to regulation and policy,” Palin said of Fischer’s background and knowledge.

At Cabella’s, Mama Grizzly talked with customers and autographed a man‘s cap.

Governor Palin endorsed Fischer in May. Last night in northwest Missouri, the tea party favorite spoke and served barbeque at a campaign rally with another conservative candidate for the U.S. Senate, Sarah Steelman.

Great article, just curious, was that a Freudian slip, "Obama" suburb instead of Omaha… or am I just uninformed?

Love Sarah, how about a visit to Wisconsin? Senate primary, 8/14, between Eric Hovde, Tommy Thompson, Mark Neumann and … my personal favorite, Jeff Fitzgerald, who backed Governor Walker during the recall insanity, standing solid then as our state's Republican assembly speaker. Not a lot of funds available on the part of Jeff Fitzgerald but he's standing remarkably in the field as the only one who hasn't thrown any mud on his Republican competition and has focused only on his record and how we will beat his very liberal, Democrat adversary.

He really could use Sarah's help, maybe give this primary a look see, if it's not already on her docket, Wisconsin is another key state needed to beat Obama.
