I know this would be inappropriate, but sometimes I'd like to get in the room with the people who write the bad stuff about Sarah and her kids (especially the Fox Broadcast Network) for the things like the family guy show, and just beat the daylights out of them.
But…that would be wrong. Right????

In my high school forensics/debate club a million years ago, writing a complete outline on index cards was Standard Operating Procedure. The outline can be anything you want it to be. One advantage of writing it on your palm is that you can't lose the outline like you can with an index card. Reading from copy is also acceptable, but it's a lot less dynamic — makes you a talking head.

Gov. Palin spoke for nearly 45 minutes and had nothing more than the headings of an outline on the palm of her hand. The speech was in her head and in her heart. She knew it cold. She did not have to read it from a machine or from notes.

Obama is routinely lampooned on his use of the teleprompter, because he uses it as a crutch. Teleprompters have their place. But, Obama uses it to excess. Watch video of him without one. Gov. Palin's worst speech on her worst day is orders of magnitude better than his best on his best day when he doesn't have the machine.

but to bring in the teleprompter into the =discussion make you no better than the libs.

also, whats exactly so wrong with a teleprompter? they are used because people care about what they are saying.
