Sarah Palin: Romney is ‘not a strong front-runner’

by Josh Painter on Tuesday, March 6, 2012 23:07 EDT

Commenting on the Super Tuesday primaries on Fox News tonight, Gov. Palin said that “with all due respect” to Mitt Romney, “he’s not a strong and enthusiasm-garnering front-runner right now.”

Asked by the anti-Gingrich Fox News hosts whether Newt should bow out of the race, the 2008 GOP vice presidential candidate said that she was pleased that the former Speaker was staying in the contest and added, “It doesn’t make sense for anyone to drop out.”
