Gov. Palin appeared on Neil Cavuto’s Fox Business program Thursday night with commentary on the DNC convention, which she summed up as “a bunch of bunk”:
Asked by Cavuto about John Kerry’s mention tonight of her 2008 comment that you can see Russia from Alaska, that state’s former governor explained, “I was making the point that we are strategically located on the globe.”
The GOP’s first female vice presidential candidate condemned the “Once you vote Black, You never go back” buttons being worn at the Democrats’ convention, asking, “How racist can that be?”
Cavuto asked Gov. Palin which party she believed was better prepared for the 2012 election, and she named the GOP. “Republicans are more ready to go,” she said, because her party realizes that “we are facing bankruptcy and can’t go backward” for four more years of failed policies. “People need to open their eyes,” she added, “We do have a choice.”
Asked about the “war of women,” the Mama Grizzly replied that it baffles her “that women would buy into this bunk.” Statistically, she pointed out, things are worse for minorities and women on President Obama’s watch.
