
Whether you love her or hate her, you have to admit one thing-Sarah Palin is one tough cookie. As we experienced the third episode of “Sarah Palin’s Alaska” on TLC, we were privy to venture into the Last Frontier where Alaskans still hunt and catch their own food, warm their houses with the wood they’ve chopped and love the beauty and the wildlife of Alaska. A point Palin makes in her new book, America By Heart, is how we forget how much the frontier is a part of our national character and the lifestyle we’ve been witnessing each week on Palin’s show is one that has gone out of style in much of the rest of the country. I have to admit, I can’t relate to donning rubber fishing pants, beating a halibut with a club, scrubbing the deck of a boat, filleting fish, and scrubbing bloody fish guts off a table. But I find myself glued to the television, wanting more…
