Several colleagues have reported that even though Governor Palin was not present at any of the September 12 Tea Parties, her image and likeness dominated them, with the central one being held in Washington, D.C.
Following is a slide show posted by Ceclia Trent (“CeceSurfCityUSA”) on Slide.com (Trent, 2009). This slide show was cross-posted by Fay who edits and publishes the Sarah’s Web Brigade (Evans-Martin, 2009).

Both Fay Evans-Martin and Josh Painter reported that Alex Kneffer described on the overwhelming presence of Sarah Palin photos, posters, pins, buttons, bumper stickers and other items with her name and likeness on them (Painter, 2009).
Governor Palin received many requests and invitations to attend the Tea Party. Why was she not there? That is a matter of speculation. Perhaps Governor Palin did not attend, because she did not want to make the Tea Party about her. The Tea Party is, after all a grassroots protest, in which we exercise our First — and yes, sometimes our Second Amendment rights…

…like Fielder George Dowding did in Anchorage, attending its September 12 Tea Party with an M-1 Garand according to Anchorage Daily News reporter Sean Cockerham and photographer Bob Hallinen.
Whatever the reasons Governor Palin was not present at this Tea Party, she was definitely there in spirit and likeness, and according to the LOTUS, has attended prior Tea Parties (LOTUS, 2009).
Her commanding presence in absentia at this massive September 12, 2009 Tea Party is further indication that Sarah Palin has been summoned to her highest calling — to carry Ronald Reagan’s torch — and that vigils have been posted nationwide awaiting the moment she answers her summons….

Thanks for posting the photo album. Sarah's presence was definitely there in spirit. People just love her. There were several signs there that read Palin/Wilson 2012. I love it!! Wish I had gotten a pic of that.
