The Time Machine Revisited
I remember as a child back in 1960, I watched the movie starring Rod Taylor, Alan Young (Wilbur of Mr. Ed fame) and Yvette Mimieux. If you never saw the movie it was based on the premise about a man from England who constructs a time travelling machine and uses it to travel to the future. The plot of the movie that to me at times is basically what is happening today deals with the main character George (The Rod Taylor character), who upon his travels comes upon the future in which the period he comes upon in the future is the land which consists of 2 different types of classes, the one group called the ELOIS and the other the MORLOCKS.
Upon visiting this distant time in the future, George determines that the Elois have no Government, no emotions, no desires, no will to be free, no books, no laws, no civilization to speak of. He also encounters that the society called the Morlocks are the people of the underground who have a power over the Elois, and that power is in the blazing of a siren which is a calling to the Elois to come and be integrated into the Morlocks civilization not as friends, but as food. The premise being, the Morlocks have a hold of the mindless, uncaring, unthinking people called the Elois, and all these humans being called the Elois are nothing but nourishment for the Morlocks. Once that siren of the Morlocks is played thru out the land, the Elois become nothing but incapable zombies who walk in a stream of flesh to be nourishment for the Morlocks.
Now, what does that have to do with anything you might say about our society of today? Well, I say we might not be the Elois of the H.G. Wells science fiction movie, but are we far from it. Oh yes, we need not worry about being nourishment for the Elites of today, but I have to question many times, are we as the Elois when it comes to just being mindless droids at times, because when we hear the Elite speak, we deem it necessary to follow without using our own intellect to question. I look at the supporters of the Liberals, but I guess we can also add many within our community within conservatism as well as ones who also follow. I see the liberals and media shout racism and those little droids within society who are lost when it comes to self awareness follow suit in what they have been told and in not knowing why or the reasons, they also shout racism. Following in what they’re told… This makes them feel of power, but to them they are just those mindless Elois who are nothing more than nourishment within the mind of the liberals and media who see that they have a following. They control the ones who I call the ‘Elois’ as in the movie and they will do the dirty fighting for the Elites (Morlocks). However, when it comes to living that power, being of the almighty, those little Elois of the liberals we call supporters are nothing more than an ant on the sidewalk who is trying to survive from being stepped upon. If you supporters of the liberals and media think that you are or will be welcomed into their place of worship, forget it, and that place of worship is not a church, but their close knit castle of superiority over all of you dim witted Elois who think you are worthy in their realm of power.
We hear the charges of racism, bigotry, homophobia, sexism and even now Islamaphobia thrown around, but the elite liberals know it is not true, they know that we on the right are not those names they call us, but they know that there is a following who will submit to their power and follow them. Thinking that they are achieving self dignity in following their elite beings, but as with the Morlocks, they are just nourishing the liberal elite’s strength in power. In having their supporters (Elois) following their commands, the elites just need the support of their mindless fellowship and do as they say, but realizing, even their supporters are under their control and will never be accepted into their realm of their living and power.
Yes, I am not one who supports the liberal agenda and the agenda of the media as well, but I also do see, we the people on either side are not of their caliber when it comes to power, we are all Elois. I do have to say, I do feel the Leftist supporters are very blinded in how they follow, but I just can’t stop with the left, I also have to add many supporters of the right as well. What this is all about and what we as a society need to think about is one thing, we the average American think that we are going to be brought into their world and be blessed with their fortunes of superiority, in thinking that, we are the Elois of that movie, The Time Machine. We are Elois, just face the fact. Many of us are not of prestige, not of power and authority and if you as leftist supporters or even of the right, think that whichever side wins in this battle of power, will we be welcomed into the group of the Morlocks (the elites, the powerful, the prestige, the established). Forget it if you think you will be, we are only a number to them, a pawn on a chess board. Our lives will not flourish any better, for we are not of them, we only make them with our numbers. We are their voices, their hands and their feet. We are the soldiers, we are the fighters, but when all is said and done, we are the lonely, the forgotten. I do wish supporters of the liberals will see all this because I do believe the elites of the left have a very distinct control over their supporters.
However, in saying that, I also believe that much of society today is living their lives as Elois. Since I am here comparing society today as in a movie, I believe that what is happening today is as a science fiction movie made back in the 1960′s. I look at one person as being that George in the movie The Time Machine, and that being Sarah Palin. Oh, I can hear it now… What the hell are you talking about, Robert? Well, let’s take a look at that comment.
Why are we here today, could it because of our inability to act or protest the actions of our schools being overtaken by an agenda which today teaches that basically America is not worthy. Where were we decades ago when all this happened? Where were we when Politically Correctness changed our lives? What did we do to battle all these changes? What did we do to confront these changes? Seems to me we just accepted it all and now whine about the changes today. Maybe we should have whined louder when all this came into our lives at the beginning and maybe we might not be as bad as we think we are today. Now enter Sarah (George) Palin. As far as I see it, when Sarah came on the scene, she woke us Elois up. Yes, I said it, Sarah Palin woke us up. Look at the hatred of Sarah Palin by the elites (Morlocks). Sarah Palin is in the way of the elites, she has disturbed their control over society. I look back and ask myself, ‘GOD, why didn’t we have a Sarah Palin back then in the past decades?’
I can imagine the fight she would be giving them all in trying to take are schools over, I can imagine Sarah putting up her hand when Politically Correctness came into our lives and saying…”BACK OFF”. Where was our Sarah then, yes we had the likes of Rush Limbaugh, who took a lot on the chin, but where was our leader, our Party then?
Yes, I look at Sarah Palin today and I see the Morlocks (elites, powerful, media, parties, the prestige) all after her. To me Sarah came to us Elois and shook us and made us aware that WE CAN do it. As in the movie, the Morlocks had to destroy George because he was waking up the Elois and was showing them that they are special, not just zombies to another class. I see that today with Sarah Palin, the Elites want to destroy her as well because she has woken us as well. Some of us today even haven’t acknowledged what Sarah has done, what she has given us. We always wanted a fighter, now we have one, lets not let her down. She will not back down, she keeps up the fight. Nobody in my life has fought the elites, the media, the power hungry more then she has and she is winning because they fear her, they are scared of her, they can’t seem to destroy her. We have to help her for she is in control of them, someone we have needed for decades, now we have that someone. We the people do the elites work, we do as they say, we live as they say, we struggle as they say, but do they live as we as in suffering. We eat what they say, we drive what they say, we think in what they tell us, but do they notice who we are. Yes, the Republicans did very well November of 2010, all I ask is one thing, will they listen to we the people or listen to themselves and brush us off as we have seen before. Will we the people become a part of this Country or still be nourishment of the elites.
I can’t leave out the Tea Party either, for they are the Elois (people) who are now very awake. I don’t know about others, but I have never in my life seen this Country and the people more in awareness about what is going on than any other time. The elites want to destroy Sarah Palin as well as the Tea Party. Oh, we are not racists, any of what they call us, they call us that because of one reason and that being they, the Morlocks (the elites, the media, the powerful, the parties and the prestige) want POWER over you and me. They want us to follow them and do as they say. When you hear their voices, don’t listen to their voices as a siren and become a walking zombie to be their nourishment for their superiority over you. Listen to yourself and be yourself, don’t be a mindless follower of the Elites. Stay awake as Sarah, the Tea Party have alerted us and even for the supporters of the Left and even us on the right, remember, this Country was founded upon the principles of freedom and liberty for us the people (Elois), wasn’t founded upon for us to be nourishment for the elites (Morlocks). As in the Time Machine movie, George asked the Elois if they had any books, they did, but when he discovered them, they were nothing of dust and fell apart. For all Americans, don’t let your books be of dust, don’t let your Constitution become a book of dust. Read it, live it and be it.
Read those words…WE THE PEOPLE or WE THE ELOIS. The Constitution is for us, to control Government, to exercise the authority for a people to be free and not owned. If any of us think the fat cats will open their door to us and invite us into their parlor, think again. We, the people have to elect ourselves, have ones who see us as they, understand us, believe in us and are us. Looking at this coming November, we do have many who are not of the Elite class, many who are faces of us, yet we need more if we want to be a part of this political process that we deem is against us. We cannot stop, we have to stay awake; we cannot sleep as we did in the past. Sarah Palin did awake us as well as the Tea Party, now it’s up to us.
As in the movie, the main character George was giving his being to help and do everything to teach the Elois that they are a free society, not owned by another class as the Morlocks. In the movie, the Morlocks were destroyed with the help of George. George taught the Elois self esteem, and with that, the Elois destroyed the Morlocks. With that being said, makes me look within today’s battles and the hatred of Sarah Palin. The elites of today hate Sarah Palin, they despise her, they damn her; they resent everything about her. As in the movie, George saved the society of the Elois by giving them self esteem and making them aware that they are somebody, not nobodies whose only duty in life is to follow and not live. To me that’s why the hatred is directed towards Sarah; she is intruding upon the elite’s mission and that being to control us. We have our George in Sarah, we either can follow or have no life, or we can learn from Sarah Palin and realize, we are a free people who live not to follow others, but to live and have a will to be free. I for one will not nourish the elites (Morlocks), I am not a fictional character as an Elois……I am a Human Being; an American who happens to live a life granted to me from another power, not from a Morlock (the elite).
